Route and Location

By motorbike or car:

The Dutch TT Circuit at Assen is located right next to the Highway A28. The entrance road is double-lane and all parking area's are free of charge.
During busy events the traffic is guided by circuit staff which will direct you to the nearest motor or car parking.

By public transport:

The best thing is travel to the Trainstation of Assen by train or local bus. During the World Superbike and MotoGP of the Netherlands, there are special transfers-coaches bringing you to the circuit fast and cheap.
From the trainstation at Assen it is also very easy to take a taxi direct to the circuit. You will be dropped near the Strubben Grandstand or in the Paddock if you have to go the VIP area.

About TTcircuit

The Dutch TT (Tourist Trophy) is a motorcycling event, traditionally held on the last Saturday of June at the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands, as part of the MotoGP World Championship. In the past all classes (50 cc, 125 cc, 250 cc, 350 cc, 500 cc and sidecars), nowadays only the Moto3, Moto2 and the MotoGP. The circuit where the race is held is known as "The Cathedral" of motorcycling.

The Dutch TT has been held for the first time in 1925. Since then the event has taken place every year with the exception of the years 1940 to 1945 because of the Second World War. This makes it the longest-running event on the MotoGP calendar. In 2015, the switch was made to organise the races on Sunday, which direct was a great success with a "sold out" event.
